Boy Scout Troop #468 met at the beach June 7 for their Bi-Annual Beach Clean Up as a way to give back to the community. The troop picked up trash and other garbage on the beach at the east end of Bass Drive in Ormond-By-The-Sea.
With their trash bags and gloves, the boys walked a one-mile section of beach picking up trash and making the beaches look better. They also emptied and recycled the monofilament fishing string containers at each end of the mile.
