Palm Coast Firefighter-Paramedic Eric Robinson has been awarded the 2016 EMS Medal & Certificate by the Sons of the American Revolution, Flagler Chapter, for his coordination and leadership of the Palm Coast Fire Department’s CPR program.

The award was presented to Robinson, a Palm Coast firefighter since 2008, by SAR members David Kelsey and David Hammond. Several of Robinson’s colleagues, including Fire Chief Michael C. Beadle, Lt. Kyle Berryhill, and firefighter-paramedic, Daniel Hackney, attended the awards presentation at Fire Station 25.

“Robinson has been awarded EMS Medal and Certificate in recognition of dedication to the preservation of life and health under emergency conditions and for performing beyond the duties normally called for within the emergency medical services profession,” said Hammond, vice president of the local SAR chapter.

Robinson directs the CPR program, which has 12 CPR instructors who train once or twice a month. They provide classes to the community to teach CPR and first aid to people of all ages, including Flagler School students and senior adults. Through the program, some 400 citizens are certified in CPR annually.
