UPDATE: 2:50 p.m.:
Matanzas High School has been declared clear, and students will be released from school. Buses will pick up students first, then cars will pick up students, according to a tweet from the official Flagler County Sheriff's Office Twitter account. No weapon was found at the school.
The incident may affect bus schedules at Indian Trail Middle School, Old Kings Elementary School and Belle Terre Elementary School, according to the Flagler County School District.

This afternoon a student at Matanzas High Schools reported they thought they saw the reflection of another student holding what appeared to be weapon in a restroom mirror. That student reported the incident to a school administrator and the campus’ security status was immediately placed on code “orange.”
This means:
No outdoor activities – no class changes.
Students and staff will remain in their current locations
Law enforcement is on campus.
Vehicle traffic directed to one entry/exit point
The permimeter of the building is secured
After school activities will be determined by district/school administration.
Extra law enforcement from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has responded and are investigating.
Once the sheriff's office has cleared the campus, students will be dismissed in an orderly fashion.
All students and staff are safe and secure at this time.
