The Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House held their six-annual blessing of the bricks. This annual event started shortly after the home opened in 2007. Family members of those who passed at the hospice house wanted to be able to remember there loved ones in a memorial setting at the house. There are 1,056 bricks in the memorial garden about one-third have been donated and engraved.
Paula and Larry Colette attend the blessing in memory of her father who had passed in the home. Colette's mother passed 15 months later. She has bricks for both of her parents, for Colette it's a way that her parents can be together again.
