Flagler County realtor earns three Central Florida awards
Margaret Sheehan Jones, a CCIM at Parkside Realty Group, earned three top producer awards at a recent Central Florida Commercial Association of Realtors awards reception. She won the 2015 Top Producer Flagler County, 2015 Top Producer Overall Top-10 in Central Florida and the 2015 Top Producer for Industrial Property Sales.
“What makes these awards significant is that Margaret was up against real estate agents from Alachua, Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia Counties,” said Sam Perkovich, owner/broker of Parkside Realty.
“I was totally shocked,” Jones. “They called my name once and I was grateful that I had won an award, then they called it two more times and I couldn’t believe it.”
Industrial real estate is a predominately a male-dominated field. Margaret was the sole female winner at the awards banquet. Margaret had two younger female real estate agents approach her following the banquet who told her how inspirational it was to see a woman winning these awards. They told her that it encouraged them to believe that they could be up on stage winning one day as well.
