Scenic A1A Meeting

SATURDAY, MAY 28

Palm Coast Charity Golf

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Palm Harbor Golf Club, 20 Palm Harbor Drive. $30 for 18 holes, $5 goes to this month’s charity for Precious Hearts Foundation Inc. Call 986-4653 to schedule a tee time.

Gamble Jam

Pool Safety Day

1-4 p.m. at Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive. Learn about water safety with games, activities and a scavenger hunt.

 

MONDAY, MAY 30

Palm Coast Elks 2709 Memorial Day

7:30-10:30 a.m. at Palm Coast Elks 2709, 53 N. Old Kings Road. Annual Memorial Day flag raising ceremony. Breakfast to follow for a $5 donation.

City of Palm Coast Memorial Day

8 a.m. at Heroes Memorial Park, 2860 Palm Coast Parkway NW. A ceremony will be held to remember the men and women who have died serving in the U.S. Military. Guest speakers: Florida Rep. Paul Renner, Commandant Anthony D. Martinez of the Marine Corps League Detachment 876 and Palm Coast Mayor Jon Netts. Memorial wreath presentations by local veterans. In case of rain, the program will be moved to Palm Coast Fire Station 21 at 9 Corporate Drive. Call 986-3708.

Flagler County Memorial Day

10 a.m. at Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd. The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners and the Flagler County Veterans Advisory Council invite the public.

VFW Memorial Day

11 a.m. at Palm Coast VFW, 47 N. Old Kings Road. Picnic at noon will have hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, salads, deviled eggs, apple pie and ice cream. There will also be music.  Open to the public. Advanced tickets are $15 or $20 day of. Call 446-8696.

Memorial Day at Frieda Zamba Pool

Noon to 6 p.m. at Frieda Zamba Pool. 339 Parkview Drive. Active and retired military personal and their families have free admission with an ID. Call 986-4741.

Flagler Beach Memorial Day

1 p.m. at Veterans Park, 105 S. Second Street.

AMVETS Memorial Day

1 p.m. at AMVETS Post 113, 2125 N. State Street. Service will be held at the flag pole. Please arrive early to avoid disturbing service.

 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1

Inaugural Hurricane Preparedness Breakfast

8:30-10:30 a.m. at Hilton Garden Inn, 55 Town Center Blvd. Flagler Volunteer Services will discuss how to better prepare as a community. There will be a panel discussion that includes the American Red Cross, Flagler County Medical Reserve Corps, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) and Ham Radio. $15 includes breakfast and preparedness supply bag. SAFFARI Fashion Show

5-7 p.m. at Chez Jacqueline, 25-3 Palm Harbor Village Way. Dog fashion show modeling Chez Jacqueline’s gifts. Proceeds will go to SAFFARI Rescue. Limited seating, $15 tickets. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Call 447-1650.

Flagler County Republican Club Meeting
