Provision Packs raising enough money during Backpack Bash to fill over 3,000 backpacks

It was the organization's first event.

Provision Pack's First Annual Back Pack Bash raised over $15,000 — enough to fill 3,489 backpacks. 

"We have so many great things going on," said Founder Carrie Torres, "and with the support of our community, we will change lives, one backpack at a time."

Provision Packs is an Ormond Beach service that fills backpacks with well-balanced  meals, cooking instructions and hygiene items to the children of our local community that experience hunger on the nights and weekends, when school breakfast and lunch are not available.
