Palm Coast Elks Lodge 2709, 53 Old Kings Road, will be opening its doors, Veteran’s Day weekend, Friday, Nov. 11, through Sunday 13, to introduce the Elks to the community, and to raise funds to support their Veteran charities.
The lodge will open at 11 a.m. on Veterans Day, and members will provide tours, and answer questions about lodge activities.
Regular lunch and dinner services will be available to the public to purchase. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner service is 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There is also a newly refurbished, full service bar. Seating is limited and parties of three or more should call 446-2709 x 103, for reservations.
Saturday morning, Nov. 12, the Lodge will host a Classic Car “Cruise-In.” Whether you want to show off your classic car or you want to admire your neighbor's car, bring your family and enjoy the Cruise-In from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. There will be live entertainment, and food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Exhibition spots are limited. Saturday night, the Lodge will hold its annual Veterans Oldies Dinner Dance benefiting Veterans Charities. Tickets are $30. Cocktails are at 6 p.m., followed by dinner. Tickets are available at the lodge, from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.
On Sunday, the Lodge will hold its inaugural Veterans Motorcycle Fun Run. All riders are welcome. Meet at the Lodge at 8:30 a.m., kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. Cost is $20 per bike, $10 additional rider, and includes lunch at the Elks Lodge.
