FPC's Nick Zipf chooses Daytona State
Flagler Palm Coast pitcher Nick Zipf recently signed his letter of intent to forward his playing career and education at Daytona State College.
Zipf has experienced success in every league he's played. He began playing the game in New Jersey. There, he pitched the Cherry Hill little League team to a Cooperstown championship. Zipf hit a home run and struck out nine in six innings.
Last year, Zipf recorded a walk-off hit that helped his team advance to the Perfect Game championship. He and his team went on to win the 16U championship. Two seasons ago, he assisted the Bulldogs in winning their district championship.
