Photo gallery: Mainland loses to Miami Carol City in the playoffs

The Mainland Buccaneers fell to the Carol City (Miami) Chiefs 33-7 in the third round of the playoffs on Friday, Nov. 25, at Daytona Municipal Stadium.

The Bucs' only score came in the first quarter, when Denzel Houston found Brian Jenkins for an eight-yard touchdown pass. On Mainland's ensuing drive, Houston took a sack that injured his left ankle, and he would see very little of the field for the rest of the game.

Mainland's offense struggled throughout the game, and its defense couldn't stop the Chiefs until the second half.

Mainland will have many positions to fill after this season.
