Ormond-By-The-Sea Lions paints rooms at Halifax Urban Ministries' homeless shelter

Club members painted the children and teen rooms at the shelter Sept. 10.

Six members of the Ormond-By-The-Sea Lions Club gathered to help paint the children and teen rooms at the Halifax Urban Ministries shelter in Daytona Beach. 
 
The team worked  Miguel Rodriguez, housing coordinator for HUM, on  a selection of colors and teamed up with Sherwin-Williams Paints, who provided the paint at a discounted cost. OBTS lions were able to paint both rooms in half a day.  

The Ormond-By-The-Sea Lions Club meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of every month at Alfie’s Restaurant, 1666 Ocean Shore Blvd. For information on the club, call 441-4421.
