A home on beachside, along with two vehicles, was completely lost Thursday morning after a fire broke out that crews could not respond to in time.

Due to the high wind speeds on Granada Bridge, crews didn't make it in time to save the home at 115 Banyan Drive. Once wind speeds subsided, the Ormond Beach Fire Department staff went to the site.

Neighbors advised that the residents left yesterday in a third vehicle to evacuate Hurricane Matthew.  The home is estimated at a value of $150,000.
