Cancellation

The Flagler Woman's Club and the Flagler Beach Fire department have postponed the "Hot Stuff" Chili in the park, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15. The event will be rescheduled.

Sunday, Oct. 23

Dance for Hope

2-4:30 p.m., Portuguese American Cultural Center, 1200 Palm Harbor Parkway. Hope to Help Foundation. Baile Explosivo, dance fusion style aerobic dance fitness. Gift, raffles, and best Halloween costume contest. To benefit women in Flagler County diagnosed with breast and gynecological cancer. Chamber Players of Palm Coast

3:30 p.m., Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway. Directed by Paige Dashner Long, and featuring the music of Vivaldi, Boccherini, Sammartini, and Scarlatti. Free, and open to the public. More information, 445-1600.

Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov 6

Rescheduled Pellicer Creek Raid

10 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Florida Agricultural Museum will host the seventh annual Pellicer Creek Raid. Infantry, artillery, and cavalry troops will be demonstrating military life in Florida circa 1864.  Parades will take place at noon and battles at 1 pm on both days of the event.  During the rest of the program, the re-enactors historic camps will be open to the public.  Admission: $5 per person. Rescheduled Creekside Festival

10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6. Princess Place Preserve, 12th Annual Festival featuring live bluegrass music, historical demonstrations and exhibits, arts and crafts, a photograqphy contest, food vendors and more. Cost: $5 per carload.
