Volusia Schools closed on Sept. 2

Storm has caused closing.

All Volusia County schools will be closed Sept. 2 due to the Hurricane Hermine. The decision to close schools is based on safety issues for students and staff, according to a school spokeswoman. Some employees may be contacted to report to work.
