Man found dead in E-Section vacant lot, suicide suspected

The man's body was found on a vacant lot near the intersection of Eagle Harbor Trail and Eagle Crest Pass.

A Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputy found a man dead on a vacant lot near the intersection of Eagle Harbor Trail and Eagle Crest Pass in Palm Coast while conducting a routine patrol the morning of Sept. 20.

The man's death appears to be self-inflicted, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office news release. The Sheriff's Office is investigating, and the medical examiner's office will determine the cause of the man's death after an autopsy. 
 
There have been no recent reports of missing people from the area, according to the news release, and deputies have been canvasing the area.
