Growing grass at the drug store

The grass should be cut soon.

Motorists may have noticed the knee-high grass in front of the new CVS Pharmacy at the corner of West Granada Boulevard and North Nova Road last week. It has now been mowed and neatly trimmed.

City Manager Joyce Shanahan said the corporate headquarters for CVS Pharmacy apparently did not realize they needed to make arrangements for lawn maintenance at the store.

The city Neighborhood Improvement Division contacted the store headquarters and let them know about the need for lawn service.
