Florida Hospital Flagler named urologist Dr. Terrence Regan as the physician of the quarter for 2017’s first quarter.
“Dr. Regan has an excellent bedside manner and does an excellent job explaining diagnoses to patients and their family,” one of his colleagues said in his nomination.
Regan is a former president of the Florida Urological Society. He was Florida Hospital Flagler’s chief of staff from 2010 to 2012.
“Dr. Regan is so deserving of this recognition. He is a team player and always willing to lend a hand to colleagues,” said Dr. Ron Thomas, Florida Hospital Flagler chief medical officer. “In the past 20 years, he has cared for so many in our community. Flagler County is blessed to have him here!”

To celebrate the graduation of Leadership Flagler’s 24th class and Youth Leadership Flagler’s fourth class, the Chamber will host an event 6-8 p.m. May 10 at Palm Coast’s Hilton Garden Inn.
Leadership Flagler is a three-month program that nurtures and engages the leadership skills of potential and current community leaders. It deepens participants’ understanding of Flagler County and encourages graduates to take active roles as stewards and advocates for positive change. Since its start in 1993, Leadership Flagler has graduated more than 250 community leaders. The program’s high school counterpart, Youth Leadership Flagler started in 2013, thanks to past graduates of Leadership Flagler and the support of the Young Professionals Group of Flagler County.
This year’s graduates attend for free. Past graduates and other community members are also invited at a coat of $35. For more information, contact Tiffany Edwards at 206-0955.
