Alice in Wonderland was brought to life at the Daytona Playhouse the last week of July.
Ormond Beach resident Kathy Thompson wrote and directed the musical comedy, while staying true to the original beloved story by Lewis Carroll.
Young Alice, played by Ormond Beach resident Ashlyn Mallar, fell down the rabbit hole to find all of the other favorite characters, including the Cheshire Cat (Julia Ambrose of OB), Caterpillars, Jackie Lecza and Rebekah Davis (Ormond Beach); Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, Johnathan Foege (Ormond Beach) and Noah Lemon; the Mad Hatter, Myra Rodriguez; March Hare, Ky Francis (Ormond Beach); and Dormouse, Grace Riley (Ormond Beach).
Silly songs, jokes and a game of croquet between the King, Alexander Foege (Ormond Beach) and Queen of Hearts, Michelle Lecza thrilled audiences that were brought into the action on stage as the Joker, Zach Parsons, cajoled them into helping to find the White Rabbit, Tyler Dunn.
