Florida Hospital Flagler appointed three new community leaders to the foundation’s Board of Directors, according to a release.
FHF appointed Steve Davis, Richard Haas and Sid Nowell. Davis, who is a retired healthcare architect, moved to Flagler County in 2004. He specialized in designing hospitals and other medical facilities. Davis employs the concept of “Healing Hospitality,” which he developed while working at the Cleveland Clinic. In addition, Davis uses this concept to assist FHF with making changes to common areas and patient care areas throughout the hospital.
“As a recent patient, I experienced firsthand the importance of our hospital to the community,” Davis said in a release. “I am delighted to be serving on the Foundation Board.”
Haas, who has been a resident of Palm Coast for more than 15 years, is a retired business executive who specialized in advertising and sales. Haas and his family personally experience the medical care available at FHF, which fueled his passion to help grow the hospital and foundation.
“I want to do more and donate my time and efforts to help the hospital grow,” Haas said. “Being a part of the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation board will allow me to do exactly that.”
Nowell, who has been a resident of Flagler County since 1995, recently retired after 42 years in the legal profession where he served governmental, municipal, corporate and individual clients. He served on the FHF Foundation board from 2009 to 2011.
“I am excited to return to the Foundation Board and support the continued growth and reach of Florida Hospital Flagler,” Nowell said.
