Santa Claus came to Bulldog territory on Wednesday, Dec. 13, for Flagler Palm Coast High School Student Government Association's annual fundraiser.
The event provided an evening of holiday fun, including visits with Santa and dinner for $3 per person. All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase Christmas Angel Gifts and/or grocery gift cards to lessen the financial burden during the holiday season.
This year, the group raised $1,283 from admission fees and additional donations at the door.
SGA keeps the event costs low by having its members and their families donate all of the food for the dinner. The members cooked and served a variety of different pasta dishes, salad, bread and desserts, and they also created the different photo areas. This year's photo ops included Santa's living room, a giant sleigh soaring through the night sky, a Mickey and Minnie-themed toy shop where children enjoyed making crafts and writing letters to Santa, a winter wonderland and an all new Nutcracker area with real ballerinas.
The FPC Jazz Band performed holiday music for entertainment. Band and chorus performed a holiday show in the auditorium as well.
