An Edgewater man was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 12, after being pulled over for failing to maintain his vehicle's traffic lane, according to a Port Orange Police incident report.

Nicholas Consilvio, 29, initially provided officers with the name of Anthony Consilvio and several different birth dates. Further questioning lead Consilvio to admit he had provided the false name because he knew his driver's license was suspended.

A search resulted in finding two blue straws containing a white powdery residue. A test of one straw came up with a positive result for methamphetamine. The straws were submitted into POPD evidence.

Consilvio was charged with driving with a suspended license, possessing narcotic paraphernalia, giving a false name to law enforcement and possessing a Schedule II substance, which falls into the category of addictive drugs.

Consilvio was transported to the Port Orange Police Department for processing before being taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail with a $4,000 bond.
