Ormond Beach resident directs 'Side Effects' at Daytona Playhouse

Bruce Heighley, an Ormond Beach resident, directs "Side Effects," a play about a man who finds his life turned upside down when his behavior undergoes a radical change after a heart transplant. Whose heart did he get? Enter curmudgeon, Frank, stuck in the same nursing home with a mystery illness. 

The play opens 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at 100 Jessamine Blvd. Other showtimes include 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7, 12, 13 and 14, and 2 p.m. Jan 8 and 15. Tickets cost $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, $10 for kids 18 and under. Call 255-2431 or visit DaytonaPlayhouse.org.
