Prescribed burn in Bunnell may affect visibility

The burn is occurring near State Road 11 in Bunnell, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

A 40-acre prescribed burn in Bunnell near State Road 11 may cause smoke and affect visibility Jan. 20, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The FHP has asked drivers to use caution when traveling near the burn. Visibility may deteriorate quickly because of smoke or fog, especially during the night time and early morning hours.

The FHP urges drivers to use low beam headlights to adapt to changing weather conditions, and to slow down as needed to avoid a crash.
