Rymfire Career Day 2017 is held each year to motivate the students by working closely with community members in various career fields.
“This day aims to make an impact on the students’ future and inspire them to find a passion that will help them become successful in life,” Melanie Tehan, media specialist, said in an email. “The purpose of this annual event is to motivate students by working closely with community members and improve their educational outcome.”
Community partners from Daytona State College, Marineland, the Palm Coast Fire Department, dentists, Florida Hospital Flagler, were just some of the career representatives participating in the event.
This event was spearheaded by Tanya Williams, school counselor for grades kindergarten to second, and the faculty and staff.
