The thunder of a stock car engine echoed off the elegant walls of Marina Grande on the Halifax on Jan. 27. Retired NASCAR driver and condo owner Rusty Wallace pulled up in one of his former cars at a promotional event with Adams and Cameron and Co. Realtors, which has taken over sales of the remaining 188 condominiums. The company will be working with Urbanista Realty, which has marketed units in the buildings since they opened in 2007 at 241 Riverside Drive, Holly Hill.
Wallace said he owns a unit on the top floor and he can see the ocean as well as the Speedway.
“It’s the best view in town,” he told the crowd.
Eva Gracia, broker of Urbanista, said buyer interest from all over the world has been picking up, as well as values. One sold in December for $670,000.
The remaining condos range in price from “the low $200s to the high $500s,” said Diana Janzen, of Adams Cameron. The two buildings have a total of 486 units.
Adams Cameron will have two full-time agents at the property, Paige Rasmussen and Cyndi Terry, who were excited about the property.
“The views are to die for,” said Rasmussen.
Features include two pools, boat slips, a movie theater, full-time concierge and several acres of grounds.
“It’s upscale and high end all the way through,” said Janzen. “You can’t believe it until you see it.”
She said Adams Cameron has a long history of marketing condominiums going back to 1971.
