Congratulations to the Schaacks on their 50th anniversary

The celebration was in the mountains of Tennessee.

Terry and Diana Schaack were high school sweethearts in Waterloo, Iowa. On July 1, 1967, 11 days before Terry was drafted and sent to Vietnam, the two were married. Terry Schaack served in the 1st Air Calvary Division.

The couple settled down to raise their family in Iowa, and remained there, until they moved to Ormond Beach in 1987.

The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary in a mountain cabin in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with their children and their families: Brian, Paula, Wade and Chance Schaack; Kerrie, Dennis, Jakob and Tucker Lyke  and  Francie and Howard Broderson from Iowa.
