Turtle talk

When: 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29
Where: Gamble Rogers State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach, 3100 S. Ocean Shore Bvd.
Cost: Included in park admission of $5 per vehicle
Details: A park ranger will talk about sea turtle habitat, behavior and the role they play in Florida. Event subject to cancellation due to weather. Meet at the cedar pavilion on the west side of the park.

Celebrate Israel

What: Am Yisrael Chai, an event to support and celebrate Israel.
When: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 30
Where: Beth Judah Messianic congregation, 3217 FL-40, Ormond  Beach
Details: Celebrate Temple Israel’s influence through the sanctuary artifacts at Beth Judah.

When: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2
Where: Granada Plaza Shopping Center, 145 E. Granada Blvd.
