Lulu’s Oceanside Grill celebrated their 10th anniversary with a bit of a Polynesian twist on July 28.
Thanks to performances by Silhouettes of Polynesia, LuLu’s reigned in 10 years of feeding locals and tourists alike in Ormond Beach with hula dancers, traditional Polynesian music and a fire dance. The restaurant also offered Polynesian-inspired food items that night.
For restaurant owner Ryan Prodesky, the night marked a monumental occasion celebrating the risk he took 10 years ago when LuLu’s first opened.
“We’ve been lucky enough to have such great support from the Ormond Beach and surrounding communities for the last 10 years,” Prodesky said.
LuLu’s 10th anniversary was an opportunity to throw a great party and involve the community, Prodesky said, especially since much of the restaurant’s client base is local.
The party wouldn’t have been complete without the performances of Chuck Morel and the rest of Silhouettes of Polynesia, which Prodesky was thankful for. He said the performers did a fantastic job.
As for what has helped LuLu’s succeed, Prodesky said it’s the restaurants attention to detail and working to stay ahead by giving people things that surprise them—something for them to look forward to when they come back.
“We’re a proud active member in the community of Ormond Beach and we plan on being involved with that community for many more years to come,” Prodesky said.
