Palm Coast Little League holds its closing ceremony
The Palm Coast Little League celebrated its hundreds of players, volunteers and parents at its closing ceremony on Saturday, June 3, at the Indian Trails Sports Complex.
The league gave out banners and team trophies to the players, and it awarded scholarship money to it four seniors who have played at least a season in the PCLL.
All of the league champions included: Jim Greenberg, Minor A baseball; Raul Hernandez Major baseball and Senior baseball; William Warren, Minor A softball; Jay Sampselle, Major softball; Ron Cacciolfi, Junior softball.
PCLL has already begun registration for the fall and spring seasons. Interested parents can sign up for the fall for $45 and get spring for $20 more at the time of fall sign up.

FPC Lady Dawg Tanagna Payne has signed to play soccer at Jackson State University. Payne’s signing made it four total signee for the Lady Bulldogs this past year.
Matanzas Pirate Christian Harrison has signed to play basketball Warner University in Lake Wales.
Free golf at Palm Harbor Golf course
The City of Palm Coast’s Palm Harbor Golf Club will be hosting a free Player Development Week, beginning on Tuesday, June 20, at the golf course.
The public is invited to participate in lessons and clinics, known as PDW, an annual event to introduce the game to new golfers. All ages are welcome, and pre-registration is not required.
The club will hold a free ladies clinic from 8-9 a.m. on Tuesday. Free 15-minute golf lessons with the PGA professional will be offered on the driving range from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday. And a free short-game will be held for all levels from 11 a.m. to noon.
