Palm Coast became the first city in Florida to raise the Portuguese flag at City Hall on Friday, June 6.
The community came together to raise the American and Portuguese flags, watch the Portuguese dance performers and hear from Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland and Consul Caesar DePaco of the Honorary Consulate of Portugal in Palm Coast.
Consul Caesar DePaco honored Mayor Milissa Holland with an award to show his thanks for her immense support for the local Portuguese community. Portugal's National Day is officially on June 10.
