Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland remembers attending her first Philippine American Association of Palm Coast celebration 10 years ago. She said she danced the night away and felt connected to the local Philippine community ever since.
A decade later on June 10, 2017, Mayor Holland spoke of her appreciation for the local Filipino community's hospitality and meaningful service during the PAAPC's 25th anniversary party at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8696.
"You love us, and we love you too," Master of Ceremonies Ofelia Miller said to Holland after her speech.
PAAPC members celebrated the 119th Philippine Independence Day by dancing, watching a traditional folk dance by the Salidumay dancers and honoring the former presidents of PAAPC with medals of appreciation.
