When: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday June 17
Where: Tomoka State Park, 2099 N. Beach St.
Details: Native plant and bee experts, including the Florida Native Plant Society (Paw-paw chapter) and local beekeepers will be on site.
Schedule:11 a.m. – Wildflowers and Plants with Florida Master naturalist Paul Rebmann. Noon – The life cycle of the butterfly and native plant talk with Volusia County master gardener Sally Cummings. Members from the Gillespie Museum-Pollinator Project will have a display of Volusia Sandhill Ecosystem. Hands-on activities and free give-aways while supplies last.
When: 9 a.m. to noon, June 26-30
Where: Ormond Memorial Art Museum, 78 E. Granada Blvd.
Details: Summer camp for children 6-12 years old. Participants will learn sewing basics and design their dream dress. The week ends with a fashion show to model their creations.
Cost: $112.50 and $20 supply fee for museum members; $125 and $20 for future members
