The Ormond Memorial Art Museum is looking for artists interested in participating in tape art class with Philadelphia tape artist, Jay Walker.
Students will create a vinyl and tape art piece while learning Walker's process of using tape as an art medium. The pieces students will create can be used for street art.
The project will be based on Walker's popular "Jay's Plaid Shirt" project and use adhesive vinyl and tape to make a tape art piece that is a giant sticker that can stick on walls or glass.
The class will be held from 10 a.m. to noon June 17. All supplies are provided, and it is open to participants 14 and older. Advance registration and payment — which is $45 for members and $50 for nonmembers — is required, and space is limited.

Walker is one of the artists participating in "Tape Art 2017" at OMAM from June 16 - Sept. 17. He will be installing a tape art mural on site and is a multi-disciplinary artist. View his work on Facebook at Jay Walker Studio.
