Run to benefit GratitudeAmerica — and two other things to do this week

The GratitudeAmerica 5K also includes a fun run for children 10 and under.

GratitudeAmerica 5K race and fun run

When: 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 17

Where: Coastal Policy Center at Marineland

Details: The 5K race and exploration walk begins at 8:30 a.m., and the half-mile fun run (10 and under) begins at 9:30 a.m. The course will provide a tour of Marineland’s River-to-Sea preserve, the ocean and the town’s facilities. The race is hosted by and will benefit GratitudeAmerica, a nonprofit that supports military service members, veterans and their families. Age group awards will be presented, as well as medals to the top 250 finishers. Food Truck Tuesday

When: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 20

Where: Along Park Street next to Central Park (975 Central Ave.) in Town Center

Details: Peruse more than a dozen food trucks while enjoying music by RJM Entertainment and performances by 3’N Motion dancers from VertiFitAeiral Arts. Meet local judges at Flagler Chamber’s Common Ground Breakfast

When: 8 a.m. Thursday, June 22

Where: Grand Haven Golf Club in Palm Coast, 500 Riverfront Drive

Details: The Flagler Chamber of Commerce will welcome three local judges as guest speakers for its Common Ground Breakfast. There will be a panel discussion to help local business professionals and residents meet and hear from the judges who are involved in Flagler County. The judges will be Circuit Judge Dennis Craig, Circuit Judge R. Lee Smith and Flagler County Court Judge Melissa Moore Stens. Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. The cost for Chamber members to attend is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Guests may attend for $35.
