Dear Editor:
On Monday, June 5, the Flagler County commissioners presented The American Flag Project with a proclamation that reads on the last paragraph:
"Therefore, be it proclaimed by The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners that they hereby recognize the efforts of The American Flag Project to make Flagler County the most patriotic county in America and urge all citizens to demonstrate their patriotism by flying their flags.”
We encourage all Flagler County residents to remember that July Fourth is a legal flag flying day.
If anyone needs a flag and or wants to support the project please contact us. Visit theamericanflagproject.org. Call 986-6484.

Then they quickly took our scissors away so we wouldn't run with them. … Great park and touching listening to the mayor talk about her dad and why he felt the need for parks in the community.

Now let's provide a safe passage in the form of sidewalks for all kids to get to this beautiful park.

A "Showcase playground" with something for entire family — a true asset for Palm Coast and entire area.

About time.

Good job, Flagler County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Rick Staly! Especially when licensed contractors work so hard to pass state exams and become licensed!
— Abra Seay
Go Staly and the gang. I think the last six months should have been a fair warning to criminals in Flagler.
— Tommy Polacek
It's about time. People work hard to get licensee, bond and insurance. Thank you for stopping the people that only care about the money and fraud.
— Tammy Jones
Hire a licensed and insured contractor. You can check them out on DBPR. If you don't, you have no recourse.
— Lacey Suarez
I guess these officers are not that busy fighting real crimes!
— Kevin Cohick
People working is a crime now; that makes sense.
