Details: Presented by the Ormond Beach Historical Society, local educator Joseph M. Vetter portrays Alexander Hamilton an assistant to President George Washington and the first Secretary of the Treasury.

Orthopedic surgery and recover questions answered

What: Free orthopedic seminar
When: 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 28
Where: Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, 305 Memorial Medical Parkway.
Details: Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kenneth B. Hawthorne will discuss knee replacements and the hospital’s rapid recovery program which help patients after knee, hip or shoulder surgeries get back on their feet within 24 hours and home a few days following surgery. Refreshments will be served.
