The annual Halifax Humane Society Ruff Ride is a poker ride that begins at the humane society and makes stops along the way. This year riders will stop at Ormond Brewing Company; The Dog Pound Saloon, Lagerheads Bar & Grille and finish up at the Iron Horse Saloon on U.S. 1 for a reception dinner. Riders receive a T-shirt, one poker hand, and dinner. For more information, call 274-4703.

Details: Spring Break is all about plants and animals this year at Ormond Memorial Art Museum. Kids will create nature-inspired art projects, plant a container garden to bring home, work together to make a collaborative piece of “land art,” take a nature tour through the museum gardens and dress as their favorite animal on the last day of camp! Pack a snack, dress for mess and get ready for a fun time! Open to ages 6-12.

Details: Shining STARS will take to the Ormond Performing Arts Center stage for the 14th year. The Department of Leisure Services Special Populations Division’s annual event features all ages of performers with disabilities having a good time in this annual talent show. Each contestant will be crowned for being a Shining STAR.
