The openings reception for the 24th Ebony & Ivory Show of the Casements Camera Club was on Friday, March 3 in the gallery at the Casements. Thirty-one photography club members submitted 60 photos for this year’s show.
The photographs will be on display through Thursday, March 30. There is no cost to visit the gallery and hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Best-of-Show: "Forgotten Flowers" by Vicky Payne; Casements Award: "When You Wish Upon a Star" by Angela Bean; First place: "Afolabi" by Kathleen Pruett; Second place: "The Confederate" by Donna Armstrong; and Third place: "Evening Walk in Prague" by Vicky Payne.
Merit Awards: "Molecular Expression" by Stan Mitchell; "Mom Needs a Break" by Joyce White; "Ponce Inlet" by Tom Silvey; ""Genuine" German Shepherd" by Ken Kirby; and "When You Wish Upon a Star" by Angela Bean.
Honorable Mention: "WWW (Worldwide Web)" by Jerry LeCrone; "Complex Descent" by Sylvia Camille; "Reflections" by Michele Sweeters; "Barberville Wood Carver" by Adelet Kegley; and "Grand Teton National Park" by Adelet Kegley.
