The Seabreeze Humane Society, a club of students led by faculty advisor Matt Bailey, had a bake sale to raise money for the Halifax Humane Society, the ARNI Foundation, the Ormond Beach Police Department Canine unit and Wild About birds.

The students raised $94 at their bake sale, a figure that was doubled when Halifax Humane Society Board of Directors President Mel Stack matched the amount bringing the total to $188.

The club has had their last meeting for this school year but will be back during the 2017-2018 school year to continue helping animal groups in the area.
