Bicyclist Kerry Milich, 57, injured after being struck by pickup truck on State Road 100

Milich was struck in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of S.R. 100 and Belle Terre Parkway.

A Bunnell man was left with critical injuries the afternoon of May 13 after he was struck by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

Kerry Lee Milich, 57, was heading west on the north side of State Road 100 crossing the road's intersection with Belle Terre Parkway when he was struck by a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Palm Coast resident Michael Bailey, 61, at about 3:53 p.m.

Bailey left the scene of the crash, and Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies found him later. Milich was taken to Halifax Hospital.
