Leadership Flagler, as well as Youth Leadership Flagler, held their graduation events on May 10, at the Hilton Garden Inn. The programs give participants a chance to learn about many aspect of their community and work together to serve others.

On May 7, Trinity Presbyterian Church celebrated the 100th birthday of Alice (Ricketts) Powell, born May 7, 1917, in Jamaica. She has been a member of the church for over 30 years. Gov. Rick Scott sent a tribute.
Alice currently lives in an assisted living facility and enjoys relatively good health. She attributes her longevity to her genes. Powell’s sister died two years ago at age 106; another sister is 98. Thanks to Dr. Maureen F. Linton for providing this information.
