A 16-year-old girl was taking a shower at her home in Palm Coast the night of May 17 when she saw an unfamiliar male standing outside her bathroom window holding up a cell phone as if taking a photo of her.

The girl screamed for help, and her parents called the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at about 9:43 p.m., according to a deputy's case report. It is unclear from the heavily redacted report whether the "unknown male" the girl saw was an adult or a juvenile. The report lists the offense as voyeurism.

The girl's mother heard the girl screaming for help and saying that there was someone outside her window. The mother called the Sheriff's Office and went looking for a suspect, but didn't find anyone.

A witness told deputies that she saw a male carrying a cell phone running through the area at around the time the incident occurred, and that he repeatedly yelled "wait up for me" as he ran until he was out of sight.

Deputies canvassed the area but did not find a suspect.
