County to begin repairing seawall and sidewalk on South Beach Street in Ormond

The area at 458 S. Beach St., was damaged during Hurricane Matthew.

The Volusia County Engineering and Construction Department will be repairing and replacing the seawall and sidewalk in front of 458 S. Beach St., starting  June 6. 

According to a press release from the City of Ormond Beach, the project will take approximately 30 to 45 days. Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the work, pedestrians will be unable to use the sidewalk in this area.

Saboungi Construction will be performing the work and may be contacted at 672-2077 to address any concerns or questions. The County of Volusia Engineering and Construction Department can be reached at 257-6067.
