Juvenile arrested on Halifax Avenue after police receive tip she was committing a crime on Facebook Live

OBPD says the Facebook Live accusation was unable to be confirmed.

Officers from the Ormond Beach Police Department received information May 25 that a juvenile with a warrant was in the area of North Halifax Avenue near East Granada Boulevard. The tip also said that she was using Facebook Live to show a crime in progress involving a weapon.

OBPD responded and took the juvenile into custody without incident. No weapons were involved, and no other criminal activity, besides the warrant, has been discovered; the Facebook Live accusation could not be confirmed.
