Man dies after motorcycle strikes a tree on North Nova Road

Cameron Rice was 19 years old.

A Daytona Beach man is dead after his motorcycle struck a tree in the 600 Block of North Nova Road around 6:40 a.m. May 26.

The operator of the motorcycle, Cameron Rice, 19, was transported to Halifax Hospital, where he died from his injuries at 10:51 a.m.

Officers from the Ormond Beach Police Department are currently investigating.
