Imagine School sprints into fundraiser

The Imagine School at Town Center held its annual Fun Run fundraiser on Friday, May 19. Students solicited pledges for laps that were run around the campus, promoting a healthy lifestyle. The event featured water sprinklers and bubbles to run through while in-house disc jockey, DJ Vlad, cranked out tunes for entertainment.

Congrats, Pastor Pearson

Pastor Mark Pearson of Grace Presbyterian Church in Palm Coast graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando with a doctorate in ministry. He has been the pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church since February 2007.

Lien visits Christ Lutheran

On Sunday, May 21, Christ Lutheran Church hosted Rev. Dr. Stephen Lien from Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ, and his wife, Joanne, to conduct a workshop on church growth plans.

Youthful Christian leader

Bunnell local Lauren Emery, 19, was commissioned on May 12 from Impact 360 Institute, which is a gap year experience founded by John and Trudy Cathy White (daughter of Chick-fil-A founder, S. Truett Cathy). Emery, a Matanzas High School graduate, was one of 40 students selected to attend Impact 360 in Georgia. There, she spent nine months studying principles of Biblical worldview, servant leadership and community from top Christian thinkers including Dr. Gene Fant, Del Tackett and Dr. Gregory Thornbury.

“I have really gained a new and honest compassion towards people who are different than me,” Emery said in a press release.
