Deputies surveilling a Palm Coast home for suspected drug activity found a stolen car in the driveway Nov. 5 and raided the house, arresting four people.
After deputies saw the stolen car in the driveway of the home at 21 Fort Caroline Lane, they got the permission of the property owner — Jessica Coubrough — to search the house for anyone involved in the auto theft. When they did, they saw drug paraphernalia "in plain view," according to a news release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. The news release referred to the home as a "drug house."
The Sheriff's Office got a search warrant, and Sheriff Rick Staly came to the house with a team of deputies from the Special Investigations Unit and Community Policing Division.
They found Hydromorphone, Alprazolam, methamphetamines, other prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia and a gun that had been reported stolen from an R-Section home.
Deputies arrested Coubrough, 55; Matthew Brown, 23; Angelo Walsh, 35; and Kevin Keith Williams, 35.
All have criminal histories, and deputies charged all of them with various drug possession charges. Walsh was also charged with grand theft auto, driving on a suspended license, grand theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon.
Williams was also charged with grand theft of a firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon, feeing and eluding and knowingly driving with a suspended license.
