Softball legend hits hole-in-one to begin Cypress Head Women's Golf Association's season

It was the first hole-in-one of the season.

Port Orange resident Jeri Haynes started off the Cypress Head Women's Golf Association season on a positive note. 

Haynes hit the first hole-in-one for the association's 2017-2018 season at the Cypress Head Golf Course. The hole-in-one took place on the course's 16th hole on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Haynes was also presented with a plaque by Cypress Head General Manger Bob Duquette.

Haynes is originally from Virginia and is in the U.S. Slow Pitch Soft Ball Association Hall of Fame.
