Dunlawton Avenue Wendy's robbed, suspect sought

The Port Orange Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at the Wendy's at 900 Dunlawton Ave., on Friday, Nov. 10.

At approximately 1:32 a.m. Port Orange Police responded to the Port Orange Wendy’s in reference to a robbery of the business, according to the Port Orange Police Department. No injuries were reported.

During the robbery, a cash register drawer was handed over to the suspect.

The suspect is described as an older white male with short hair and stubble facial hair wearing a grey sweat shirt and piercings in both ears. He also had what appeared to black tape wrapped on the joints of his fingers. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark in color passenger car.

This incident remains under investigation. 

Anyone who observes a discarded cash drawer is encouraged to call 386-248-1777 to report its whereabouts.

The Port Orange Police Department request that anyone with information concerning this incident to contacted the Police Department at 386-506-5801.
