Baseball:
Jackson Spiller signed his letter of intent to play baseball for St. John River State, a state college located in Northeast Florida with campuses in Palatka, St. Augustine and Orange Park.
Basketball:
The Bulldogs' Skye Green signed her letter of intent to play basketball for UNC Asheville in North Carolina. Last season, the forward averaged 16.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game, helping FPC to the second round of the Class 9A playoffs. Green was pursued by Air Force, Florida International, Iona, Jacksonville, Longwood, North Florida and Southern Mississippi.
Golf:
Olivia Whitten, who has been the Bulldogs' girls golf team's No. 1 player since her freshman year, signed her letter of intent to play for recently promoted Division II school Embry–Riddle. Whitten, who is also an International Baccalaureate student at FPC, won the individual title for this year's district tournament.
"I'm just elated," she said. "This school has a great academic program and a great athletic program, so I couldn't ask for much more."
Baseball:
The Pirates' J.J. Sousa signed his letter of intent to play baseball at the next level for the West Virginia Mountaineers. The Mountaineers, who play in the Big 12 Conference, finished 33-22 under head coach Randy Mazey and made an appearance in the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
Lacrosse:
Matanzas' Jackson Courson signed his letter of intent to play lacrosse for Mars Hill University in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Courson, who starred for the Pirates throughout his four years at the school, gave up playing basketball when he discovered his talent for lacrosse in seventh grade. His goal ever since was to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.
"It's a little surreal, but this is what my standard was. Nothing I didn't expect," he said. "Hopefully I can keep the dream going."
